Stack & Funnel covers the tools growth teams wire together and the funnels they build with them. We look at what a team added, what it replaced and what moved in the numbers after.

Most coverage of martech is vendor copy or a long comparison table. We write the middle: what a stack looks like at ten people, at fifty, and what breaks between.

What we cover

  • Stacks: The tools a growth team runs, how they connect and what each one is there to do.
  • Funnels: Changes to sign-up, trial and sales funnels, and what happened to conversion afterwards.
  • Attribution: How teams decide which channel gets credit for a lead or a sale, and where the models disagree.
  • Email: Email programs, the platforms behind them and the deliverability problems that sink them.
  • AI in the stack: AI tools and features growth teams are adding, what they replace and what they cost.

Who it’s for

Growth marketers, demand generation leads and marketing operations people at companies with ten to a few hundred employees.

How we work

When we write about a stack, we name each tool, what it replaced and which number moved afterwards, with the dates.

Every article is checked against a source we can name before it goes out, carries its date and the date of its last change, and is corrected in place when we get something wrong. Articles are written by the Stack & Funnel desk and carry the desk’s name, not an invented byline. About two articles a day is the most we publish on one site. Read our editorial standards.

Write to hello@stackandfunnel.com with a correction, a tip or a question. A person reads every message.
